Sport has always been an integral part of Liam’s life, from playing youth football at semi-professional level, through to over 17 years managerial experience in health, fitness and wellness. Liam achieved a First-Class Honours Degree in Leisure Management & Football Studies, completing an FA Level 2 in Coaching Football and subsequently ran sports camps to encourage kids to become more active and increase participation for all. A passion for keeping fit and healthy led to a successful career in leisure, initially as a Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor, before progressing to manage both privately owned health clubs and within Britain’s largest gym chain. Liam also previously worked as an Area Manager at WW, leading a diverse team of 65 Coaches to support members to create healthy habits and improve their wellness. Nowadays, Liam can be found lifting weights at the gym, attending football matches (approaching 1000 games) or reliving his youth kicking a ball around with his two young sons, whom he hopes grow up in a sporting world and society that is fully inclusive.
