Piers Martin Advisory Board Member (Chair)

As Podium Performance Group MD, Piers knows how to get the best out of people, teams and organisations. He has led and advised many Olympic and Paralympic sports, coached individuals, and supported businesses from start-ups to established companies. He is the programme lead for the Premier League’s Elite Manager Leadership Programme, and chair, director and trustee of boards and sports-related organisations including UK Deaf Sport. Piers relishes a challenge; he has swum the English Channel and is currently undertaking a doctorate.

Erin Walters-Williams Advisory Board Member

As Sport Engagement manager at Stonewall UK, Erin is committed to ‘making sport everyone’s game.’ A dedicated sports professional with a passion for inclusion and diversity, she has delivered policies and education programmes across numerous sports organisations, national governing bodies and trusts. Erin enjoyed a lengthy international career in lacrosse, representing Wales in two World Cups and winning two European silver medals. Any free time is spent with her wife and cat at home in London.

Martin Preston Associate: GCologist

Martin has over 30 years of experience coaching, managing and leading individuals and business teams within sport, including 14 years spent at England’s FA. Through his consultancy he helps clients in the UK, overseas and across different sectors increase their impact, fulfil potential and grow through creative innovation and behavioural change. Martin is also a trustee of two charities, an enterprise advisor for West of England Combined Authority, a leadership coach for Sported and a GCologist.

Stewart Wright Associate: Testing, Assessment, Profiling

Stewart is a highly experienced assessment practitioner who cofounded Informed Assessment in 2002. His priority is to provide an accessible, high-quality and responsive assessment service drawing upon robust assessment exercises. Stewart co-authored the ‘Managing Assessment Centres’ pocketbook, and a recent article published by the British Psychological Society titled, ‘What Competencies will Leaders Need in a new COVID-19 World?’ He is also a keen runner and enjoys swimming and snorkelling.

At  Right Resources Limited we work with organisations who want to take a proactive approach to embracing and supporting neurodiversity.

We provide a range of accredited training programmes as well as designing bespoke training options for clients.  We also deliver three main specialist support services for individuals; a screening, information and guidance service; workplace needs assessments and one to one strategy coaching sessions. Inclusive Cultures is founded on 10 years of work leading Equality, Diversity and Inclusion work in the sport and physical activity sector. Inclusive Cultures is able to support, advise, consult and facilitate progress around ED&I from the pitch to the boardroom. We put people at the heart of decision making and want to ensure that everyone is able to access sport and physical activity and have a great time when they do so.

WAKTU take professional athletes into the outdoors to test and challenge physical and mental robustness. All our challenges are designed to expose how players behave when under pressure and stress. We work with a close professional set of strategic partners and alliances across Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa and the Americas. Our alliances with the following organisations and services help us ensure we are an integral part of the communities we serve.

We are committed to paying it forward and reinvesting back in our communities, with level= gifting 5% of its annual profits to multiple charities to build equality and participation in sport at a grass roots level, along with providing an opportunity for 5% of our net fee income from each successful project to be donated to a good cause of our clients choosing.

Every level= employee and director undertake to raise the equivalent of £1,000pa in cash or time, for our chosen grass roots sport causes.

We are also committed to raising at least £170k for Sported by 2025.
